great turnout in Weatherford for the second TEA party to tell legislators that we are TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY! From the reports I have heard, even the media is having to take notice as this is not just a passing fad, it is a growing movement. Because of the power of the Internet and Blogs like mine, people are networking and joining forces that is making a difference.
At this event the Parker/Wise State Representative Phil King spoke as well as the Texas State Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams. He is reaching out to voters as he would like to be the US Congressman for the state of Texas in the seat currently held by Kay Bailey Hutchison. He talked about how he hasn't taken the allocated raise that has been given to him by the state for the past few years. He made it known that he doesn't agree with the current presidential lea
der and his direction! He really reached out to the crowd and was received really well! His message was inspiring to me this time as well as the last time I heard him speak, a little over a year ago at the Texas Republican Convention held in Houston, Texas.Write this name down, Michael Williams...a very personable man, a great Texan, an outspoken conservative and he has my vote!
